To open windows Quick assist app, click on the start menu and search for Quick Assist or scroll over to Windows Accessories folder in the start menu and choosing Quick Assist from the menu. When opened, click on the “Give Assistance” or “Assist another person” below give assistance.

Windows Quick Assist requires you to have a Microsoft account if you want to fix your friend’s computer (Microsoft account is not needed for them they just need to input the code shown on your screen).

Now you just have to direct the person to open Quick assist and have them put the security code that you were provided when signed into Quick Assist. keep in mind that the security code expires in 10 minutes once generated.
